About BOIS
BOIS is a portal site of Broadband Tower which allows you to view public topics, manage users, manage notification destinations, and more.
Main features of BOIS
BOIS is divided into two parts: a menu common to all services and a menu specific to each service. In addition, from 2023 onwards, it will be possible to single-sign on to applications specific to each service using the application launcher.
Common Menu
- View topics: View notifications about maintenance and outages related to our services
- Document download: Download service specifications and hearing sheets
- User management : Management of single sign-on users for each application provided by BroadBand Tower
- Notification management : Manage contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, etc.
- Service Group(Project) : Group management for consolidating contract information and contacts
Service Menu
- Data center services (Shin-Otemachi site only)
- Rack current management : View current graphs for your rack
- Entrance control : Entrance control at Shin-Otemachi Data Center
- MSP Services
- Automatic phone notification log : View the log of the automatic phone notification service
Note
The functions in the BOIS dedicated menu will be separated into a separate application, and the dedicated menu will be discontinued.
Warning
Some dedicated applications are technically unable to integrate authentication, so single signing may not be possible in some cases.
User
This refers to a customer portal user. Single sign-on to multiple applications provided by our company is possible . There are the following types of users.
- Parent User : A user who is issued and managed by our company. We will ask the customer for the user email address in advance and issue it.
- Child User : A user who will be issued and managed by the customer. There are three types of permissions for child users.

Service Role
The following shows the service roles for applications dedicated to our services that are linked to BOIS.In addition to BOIS permissions, each user can be granted a service role for each application. Users who have been granted a service role can perform single sign-on to each application provided by our company.

Service Group (Project)
You can register contact information and make inquiries on a group (project) basis. You can also grant viewing and operation permissions to parent users managed by you on a group (project) basis.
Note
Service groups and projects have different code systems, but the same management system. However, the old code system for service groups is scheduled to be discontinued. After the discontinuation, only projects will be managed.
Notification destination
This information is required for various communications from BroadBand Tower and for authenticating customer inquiries. One piece of personal information can belong to multiple service groups, and can be viewed and operated by users included in the corresponding service group.
