User Management

Register a user

Users with administrator privileges can manage users. By assigning appropriate privileges and service groups (projects) to each user, they will be able to view and operate information related to the service groups (projects).

1. Click User Registration from the menu.

   

2. Enter each item using the matrix below as a reference and click Register.

   Item	Contents・Operation
   Permissions (required)	Choose from Administrator, General User, or Reference User.
   Service Role	Set the roles for various applications linked to BOIS.
   Service Group (PID) (required)	If you select general user or reference user as the authority, select the service group (project) to assign to the user.
   Data Center Service Rack	If you have selected general user or reference user as the authority and are using data center service, select the rack to be assigned to the user.
   Email Address (Required)	Enter a unique email address to assign to the user.
   Furigana (Name)	Enter the user's name.
   full name	Enter the first and last name of the user's owner.
   Affiliation	Enter the company or department to which the user belongs.

   Note

   Service roles can only be set if you have a contract for the relevant service.

3. The following email will be sent to the email address registered in step 2, and the user will be able to log in.

   A new user has been registered on the BroadBand Tower Customer Portal Site (BOIS).
   
   How to use
   
   1. Please refer to the login information below and log in to the BOIS portal site.
   2. Change your temporary password in the profile settings menu.

Edit a user

It is possible to edit user information, permissions, service group (project) assignments, account suspension settings, etc.

1. Click User List from the menu.

   

2. Search for and click on the desired user.

   

3. Click edit.

   

4. Refer to the matrix below to edit each item and click Apply.

   Item	Contents・Operation
   Permissions (required)	Choose from Administrator, General User, or Reference User.
   Service Group (PID) (required)	If you selected General User or Reference user for Permissions, select the service group (project) to assign to the user.
   Service Role	Set the roles for various applications linked to BOIS.
   Data Center Service Rack	If you select General User or Reference user for Permissions and you are using Data Center Services, select the rack to assign to the user.
   Email Address (Required)	Enter a unique email address to assign to the user.
   Furigana (Name)	Enter the user's name.
   full name	Enter the first and last name of the user's owner.
   Affiliation	Enter the company or department to which the user belongs.
   Account Suspension	Check this box to disable the account. Any currently logged in accounts will also be disabled.

   If the user being edited is the parent user, the permissions, service group, and power monitoring target rack cannot be changed.

Delete a user

An administrator user can delete all parent users except the parent user.

1. Click User List from the menu.

   

2. Search for and click on the desired user.

   

3. Click Delete.
